How to manage your subscription
Pro is a self-serve subscription: you buy it on the Plans page, and everything after that — changing the billing cycle, updating the card, invoices, cancelling — happens on the Billing card of your Account Settings. Payments are handled by Paddle, our payment provider and the seller on your invoice; Littview never sees your card details. The Free plan needs none of this: there is nothing to subscribe to and nothing to cancel.
Upgrade to Pro
Section titled “Upgrade to Pro”-
Click Upgrade in the sidebar, or View plans on the Plan card of your Account page. The Plans page shows the three plans side by side, a Current plan badge on yours, and a line such as You’re on Free — using 1 of 1 project.
-
On the Pro card, choose Monthly ($49/month) or Annual ($539/year — one month free). You can switch between the two later without losing anything.
-
Click Upgrade to Pro. The checkout opens as an overlay on the page, with your account email already filled in; enter your payment details there.
-
When the payment goes through, the card reads Payment received — activating your plan…, and within a few seconds You’re on Pro. with a toast confirming 2,500 monthly credits are in your wallet. If activation takes longer than usual the card says so and tells you that you can leave the page — your plan updates on its own within a few minutes.
AI switches on immediately, without a reload: the See plans cards in the AI panels are replaced by the real controls, and your credit balance appears next to them.
The Billing card
Section titled “The Billing card”Once you have a subscription, a Billing card appears on your Account page between the Plan and Credits cards — Free accounts don’t have one. It names the plan and price (Pro — $49/month or $539/year), the renewal date (Renews [date]), and four actions: Switch to annual (or Switch to monthly), Update payment method, Invoices & history, and Cancel subscription. The Plan card above it shows the plan badge with $49/month — 2,500 AI credits per month, unused credits don’t roll over and your Projects meter.
Switch between monthly and annual
Section titled “Switch between monthly and annual”-
On the Billing card, click Switch to annual (or Switch to monthly).
-
The dialog calculates the switch with Paddle and shows the real figure before you commit: You’ll be charged $… today. or No charge today — your existing balance covers this switch., followed by Next renewal [date]. The switch is prorated — what’s left of the period you’ve paid for is credited against the new one — and nothing is charged until you confirm.
-
Click Confirm switch. The card updates to the new cycle and renewal date within a few seconds, with a Billing cycle updated toast.
You can’t switch while a cancellation is scheduled — the request is refused with Resume your subscription before switching billing cycles. Switching never touches your credits: annual subscribers receive the same 2,500-credit refill every month as monthly ones.
Update your card and download invoices
Section titled “Update your card and download invoices”Update payment method and Invoices & history both open Paddle’s billing portal in a new tab (allow pop-ups for app.littview.com if nothing opens). Invoices are issued by Paddle and show Paddle as the seller.
If a renewal payment fails, the Billing card shows an amber notice — There’s a problem with your payment method. Update it to keep Pro. — with an Update payment method button. Fix the card and the subscription carries on; if the payment can’t be recovered, the subscription ends and your account moves to Free.
Cancel — and resume
Section titled “Cancel — and resume”-
On the Billing card, click Cancel subscription. The dialog states exactly what will happen: You’ll keep Pro until [date]. After that your account moves to Free — nothing is deleted, and projects over the Free limits stay fully usable.
-
Click Cancel subscription to confirm, or Keep Pro to close the dialog. A Cancellation scheduled toast confirms the date, and the card now reads Ends [date] — you keep Pro until then. with a single Resume subscription button in place of the others.
-
Changed your mind? Click Resume subscription any time before that date — Your plan will keep renewing as normal — and the card returns to its usual state.
Cancelling is always for the end of the period you’ve paid for; there is no immediate cut-off and nothing is refunded automatically. On the day the period ends:
- Limits drop to Free, creation-time only. Everything you built on Pro stays fully usable (Plans and AI credits); you just can’t add a tenth project, an eleventh member, or references beyond the Free cap until you’re back on Pro.
- AI locks. The panels show the See plans card again; members see AI isn’t available on this project.
- Credits — the rest of your allowance and any extra credits — stay in your wallet but can’t be spent, and extra credits keep counting down their 12 months. Subscribing again switches AI back on and refills the allowance.
